I can understand why Democratic political campaigns are pushing this BS narrative, but it's sad to see people who call themselves intelligent taking the bait.
News flash: You can be a good, empathetic, caring liberal and still admit that some people on your side are acting really badly right now, and that the politicians representing your party are afraid to call it out.
