i truly don't think you believe that your best chance was luck. you mixed it up and did many good things albeit (w/o us seeing your hole cards) during play..


there will be some good players in this...prolly some with strong HU skills. so even if you're good at NLHE, HU is a different beast. so unless people are experts in this format HU there should only be a small advantage if you're head is screwed on right at the time of playing.


people panic in HU situations, and get dejected when they can't finish off an opponent, can't get calls from a big hand, etc, etc. subsequently the longer the match goes on the likelyhood of doing something stupid grows stronger for said player as well.




the "fuck it" approach can have merrit (and scares the shit out of the better player) if you do feel this is your best chance..shoves and crazy aggression is a good approach if you know you're outclassed in a short series. it's also a fast moving match so tere are some reasons why this would work as well



i thought both the KX and KQ calls were a poor choice to be played the way you did it. raise with them,.,but don't stack off with them in most situations. you either got bored, pissed, or didn't care so you employed the "fuck it" approach. and when all the chips go in the middle strange chit happens online.



you're next opponent was very aggro in hs first match and didn't get there w/o his share of blodbath hands that went his way when it shouldn't have.
