He fled after the war to Canada where he met Ma. There were Concentration camps for the Germans as well when they got caught. He would never speak of the war, all we knew was he was shot in the butt. He was truly a quiet man the remainder of his life. I wish I knew the story past when Hitlers army plucked him off the farm at 14.
North Carolina is pretty but the south is the south. I met a man from there when I was young named Chris Cockerhan. I was a virgin then and we spent the night under the stars on the beach. He did not sully me.
