This is why we can’t have nice things.

How bad of a bed shit was it for the ESPN feed to cut out in the last 4 minutes of the event and for ESPN to not even acknowledge it.

Early obit for Kisner bet. Like Daly said, it is really not a sweat after all those missed putts. He hit it to 8 feet first hole and missed…as I’m writing this he hit it to 9 feet at the 2nd hole and I’m not expecting much.

Golf can be infuriating…I think what’s aggravated me about Kisner this week is that you really couldn’t of asked for a better ball striking performance from him. You know going in the Par 5s are basically going to be all 3 shot holes. So you know the deal. The investment wasn’t a lot at 35-1, but it seems like such a wasted week.

    Oh well.

I can’t wait to see what Kinser does on the par 5 seventh hole……

Oh it’s 2:45 EST. It’s time for our weekly 15 minute time out for all TV coverage.

Same fucking shit both days. Tons of equity going into 11. Misses a 6 footer for birdie yesterday and a 5 footer for par today… ticket becomes a napkin. Fuck. I wish he just shit the bed straight away today.

Well that was more of a sweat then we probably deserved on a Sunday. You can’t go -2 on 14 par 5’s on the tour and expect to win. It’s retarded to say it…. But….. “he should be -19”.

What I found eye opening is Neimann. I got that kid wearing a green jacket or lifting a jug at some point…… might have to rethink that. A killer would have put this to head already.

Speaking of killers, we will leave whatever is happening in Dallas until later.

Pro tip: you are a professional. You never lay up on a par 5.

Signed everyone who has ever bet on any golfer in the last 5 years

Piece of cake….hahaha….don’t bet horses anymore, but that was like betting the speed horse in a low level claimer at Finger Lakes. The horse has no legs left in the stretch, but the other horses don’t fire enough to pass it. Got the nose in at the wire. Fuck I’ll take it.

Scottish Open next week always triggers me. I had piled on Fleetwood and stood to win a fortune. He missed a 2 footer in a playoff to give the win to Aaron Rai. That’s going to be a really tough one to handicap with a lot of PGA players getting work in before the Open and joining the Euro regulars. May actually lay off that one.

Anyways, happy 4th everyone. Health and wealth to us all going forward.

    Nice and smooth.

Can you comment on the gravity of the expected damage the Giants game will have on the books tonight? They saw it coming but aren’t they defenseless against this attack?

After a weekend of activity this is the brainless “get right” game if ever there was one.

I did catch the broadcast and noticed the same shit. It’s also very convenient that he beat his record 75 hot dogs by exactly one. He was only in competition with himself, so there was nothing in it for him to keep a pace like that. Very fucking sketchy shit for sure.

Honestly I’d be lying if I said I put much thought at all into it. Generally speaking this is exactly the time of year where most people who bet MLB shut it down for they year. All the value is gone. There are no more surprise starters or veterans that have lost it. The tacky shit with the pitchers might factor in I guess.

I’m happy to scalp golf for a few more weeks and start up with college football.

I’ll be in Vegas in 9’days. As soon as a spread around some money I’ll release my preseason play Du Jor. Unfortunately I’ve already lost +1000 of value in the past few weeks.

I invested more time watching the fourth round then I care to admit. Suffice to say I think we were gifted this win. The German girl will be a force to be reckoned with in years to come. The finish girl absolutely gave it away to Ko.

I’m not even talking about the missed 4 ft put on 15, which I think we can chalk up to shit happens. On 9
And 13 the fin hit driver off the tee and both times hit the fairway bunkers when there was absolutely zero reason or upside to do so. Both Ko and the German and everyone else hit the 3 to come up 10 yards short. She inexplicably hit into the bunker and was forced to hit a 10 yard out. Both times she hit miracles to save par on the hole. Both times if she hits the 3 she birds (logical assumption).

Don’t get me started on Kos layup on 17. It was bubbaesque on 13 last week.

End of the day fuck all that. KO was value city when Korda pulled out. Should have been +475ish. Nice to see the fellas snag one

I used to rail on and on about the NCAA and pay for play. I remember talking about Oliver Luck and all that.

Now that the waning days of college amateurism are upon us it will be interesting to see how it affects the product on the field and which athletes get tripped up by the Wild West of endorsements

Not to mention internal jealousy and strife within the team.

It will be something to behold. Longer term when we have 2-6-10 years in a row of Bama, Clemson, Ohio St and whoever the ND/LSU/Geo/A&M/OU wildcard is that year I wonder if “people” will get pissed and demand change. That’s exactly what we have now and it’s going to get worse.

By the looks of it the fellas from the heights bought enough talent to win 8 games this year, if you believe some of the preseason materials (I don’t).

You just described the professional sports divergence in every league except hockey

College football is still a better game. The 15 yard defensive PI penalty is the product of higher education.

I struggle to watch the nonsense of the pro game. I can’t spread bet that kind of variance with any seriousness

These kids don’t have agents so they will be doing these deals online. Like most things in life you run into trouble when you have only one foot in the water. Fascinating as hell. Handicap that.

gonna be interesting to see what type of problems come with all this new legit money that the players don't have to half-hide. Now they can ball out in public wherever they want, not just the safe local hangs.

Strip club fights and shootings are gonna go way up, among other things, IMO. Players buying large amounts of drugs, both for use and for selling, fast cars being driven into poles, ...

The big money guys won't even have to hide their agents anymore, right? You can have an agent for NIL rights. Everyone shady Tom Dick n Harry is gonna be an agent now, and a lot of the kids are gonna have one in one form or another.

The thing that gets me is the “haves” and the “have nots” on a team.

The team usually has a dorm or couple of floors to themselves. For most it’s pretty lean. Baseball meal money was never enough. You thought about money a lot.

Now, some guys be ballin and talking on social media promoting.

You always accepted that some guys on your team are gonna make it. That you will not. But for now you are all equal in your poverty.

That’s all gonna change. There is gonna be rifts

If you are going to back Connor I’d wait

If you are going to back Poirier now is the time.

Give me Poirier in the -120’s
