You aren't supposed to take fever reducers while you're getting the vaccine side-effects. They're said to interfere with your body's response to the vaccine.

My mom told me she got "the worst headache of her life" with the Moderna vaccine 2nd shot, but she forced herself to tough it out and take nothing. Given that I'm genetically half of her, I'm not liking my chances to avoid similar side effects, but I'll also just deal with what will be one of life's least pleasant days.
