Woke up with a puddle of sweat on my stomach and it felt like I pissed and possibly shitted myself the bed was so wet. After that I felt fine. Got Moderna...first shot as nothing, second shot felt like the flu for a day, then I felt ok, took a short hike 2days later....what a mistake back to the flu...then ok the next day.

I got mine already as well although it was pfizer (supposedly worse side effects than J&J). I tend to have man colds but I had virtually no side effects from this aside from slight pain in arm for a few hours which is typical of just about any vaccine.

A few interesting points.

-They can't really explain why some people have side effects. But it tends to be younger people in 20s or 30s. Elderly rarely have any side effects.
-Whether you have side effects is not correlated with how well it works.
-The second dose is apparently when you really feel it. So if this was your first dose prepare for a hell of a second one.

It is a nice house for sure, he showed pictures of it. Not sure why a couple in their 50s need a house that large. I think he said it was 5000 square feet. Makes sense it you have two young kids, but only two adults not sure. Unless they are big entertainers and throw a lot of parties, then I guess you can justify it. We have an extra bedroom in my house, I never even go in it. I could not imagine having like three rooms like that. A friend of mine has a basement, it is nice, but when we went down there to help him move a piece of furniture upstairs, I could tell he had not been down there in weeks. There were like five cases of Diet Coke on the floor with an inch of dusk on them. He had no idea they were even there.

You aren't supposed to take fever reducers while you're getting the vaccine side-effects. They're said to interfere with your body's response to the vaccine.

My mom told me she got "the worst headache of her life" with the Moderna vaccine 2nd shot, but she forced herself to tough it out and take nothing. Given that I'm genetically half of her, I'm not liking my chances to avoid similar side effects, but I'll also just deal with what will be one of life's least pleasant days.

--I did the Pfizer. After first shot fine, and after second felt like shit for about a day. Fine 2 days later. My wife and her sister had pretty much similar outcomes.

--Both my boomer parents had no side effects from vaccination (One did Pfizer and the other J&J) so confirming it hits the younger harder.
