I looked around for -3 and couldn’t find it. I really wanted this bet, but everything I had $ on was -3.5 and the premium was -130ish to buy the half, so I said fuck it.
I’m going to close my eyes and just bet Pittsburgh straight up for small $ based upon nothing but history. I really like this Browns coach tactically for the most part. He’s in the catbird seat of following some of the worst coaches ever, which helps, but he’s so low key that I don’t think he gets his team up well. Pittsburgh was giving them that game last week and somehow the Browns seemed the flat team. That’s like the third time they’ve appeared flat in spots I’d expect them to be fired up. It gives me pause. First playoff game in 18 years, you’d expect them to come out fighting. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them lose 31-13. Something is amiss. Big improvement, but not there.
I’m actually worried about the acting coach. Dude is a Naval Academy grad. I’m concerned maybe he lights some spark that Stefanski doesn’t seem to.
