I think it was like 36 days after the 2000 election that Al Gore finally conceded. And you know what, not one democrat complained about it. Repeat, not one democrat complained about it.

BTW, I had been voting democrat through the 2000 election. I voted for Al Gore. It was when the demcrats put up John Kerry in 2004 that I knew the dems were getting out of whack. To far left. I didn't leave the dems. They left me.

I know this is somewhat different, but it's the same general concept. Trump isn't trying to destroy democracy, he's just delusional that he got cheated. Fortunately it's not so simple to just influence a mass number of electors to be faithless because of your own conspiracy theories, and therefore all of this will be for naught.

A great threat to democracy can only occur if it's an actual threat to take place -- not just because someone wishes it were to take place.

Similarly, if the Republicans win at least one of those Georgia seats, I'm not going to worry one bit about the court packing, because that will prevent it from happening. Whether Biden actually wants to do it will become secondary at that point.

The difference is, Hillary wasn't trying to actually do it, wasn't challenging election results in court, wasn't trying to get state legislatures to overturn the vote of the people of those states, wasn't claiming that people who voted for Trump were fraudulent votes, wasn't trying to convince electors to vote for her instead of Trump, wasn't trying to destroy faith in the electoral process. She conceded shortly after it became clear that Trump won. She didn't ask Obama to block an orderly transition and endanger the country, and he had Trump in for a visit right away and got the civil service to work on a smooth transition, like he should have. She didn't threaten to try to occupy the White House. If you can't see the difference, you need to make that clown avatar a little bigger.

500 votes in a single state whose EVs would determine the winner, and there were known issues with the counting (not fraud, just shitty machines, which the Republicans acknowledged), to where it was actually not clear who won. Compared to Trump who is behind 306-222 and needs to overturn 100,000 votes in several states and is alleging fraud with NO EVIDENCE.
