By then, as a young Latina in politics, I had gotten used to feeling like an outsider in rooms dominated by white men. But I had never experienced anything so blatantly inappropriate and unnerving before. Biden was the second-most powerful man in the country and, arguably, one of the most powerful men in the world. He was there to promote me as the right person for the lieutenant governor job. Instead, he made me feel uneasy, gross, and confused. The vice-president of the United States of America had just touched me in an intimate way reserved for close friends, family, or romantic partners — and I felt powerless to do anything about it.

Oddly enough real estate here has gone straight up this year. Economy has been good. We haven’t missed a beat because of covid. Sleepy Joe won’t make things better. I do worry about Biden putting some kind of No evictions order for a year or some dumb shit like that

I sold a condo in the panhandle area for $90K profit after 5 years of owning it. Got great use out of it but it needed to be renovated and did not want to pay for it. I sold it right in the middle of the pandemic. The realtor on the transaction said business has been booming, but she did caution inventory was really dwindling, people are sitting tight, she mentioned she had plenty of buyers but not many listings.

I may regretting selling it now, but it did need a lot of work and I just bailed on the project, I mean I live 5 states away. It was just not worth it.

By the way, the $90K profit just goes to fund my horse racing disaster where I got destroyed, so I am up like $20K or so post sale. Tough year on the gambling front. LOL. Fuck this corona.
