About 5.4% of people infected over 70 die from it.
However, Trump has a much less than 5.4% chance of dying. These reasons include:
1) He isn't showing symptoms yet, from what we can tell.
2) His health is not bad. Many people over 70 who die from COVID have major, noticeable health issues.
3) He is not that much over 70. The "over 70" group includes people over 80 and 90, too, and they die at a higher rate.
4) He will get the very top level care, and will be monitored constantly.
Now, if it's destined that COVID ravages his body and attacks him badly, there's not much that can be done at this point. But as I said, the chances are fairly low. As has already been mentioned, if he recovers from it and appears healthy again, this could hep his reelection chances.

The tweet below is why I think this honestly could be a "work". I didn't feel like explaining why I personally thought he blew the election, but he wasted months and hundreds of millions of dollars campaigning on attacking Biden himself, when it's not really Biden he's running against. Biden just happens to be the other choice. Biden has no real platform outside of not being Trump.
Team Trump should have been campaigning on the virus full force, particularly what they are going to do to solve the pandemic, while simultaneously forcing the issue that the Democrats would, and actually will, continue to enforce the wildly unpopular lockdowns wherever possible. That's how he could have possibly kept the boomer vote and won over enough of the middle to win the election. Even the rioting issues have taken a backseat to personal attacks on Biden. All of the MAGA types that work as free advertising for him are parroting the attacks on "sleepy Joe" when they could have been building fear of economic collapse from the lockdowns and fear of the riots coming to the suburbs.
His campaign team this time has been awful. No one apparently gives a shit about Joe Biden, his character, and likely dementia. They could have ran Hillary again and I believe she would have won against their failed strategy.

Harris is definitely an easy sell, just be careful not to have open orders for very long. I think the markets are mostly settled down in regards to 'overreactions'. Pence to run went to 24, now it's back to 10. I wouldn't be selling at 10 right now, I don't think that's an overreaction.
