They have the right to burn a bible or a flag if they want to. Your favorite Supreme Court Justice Scalia even said so. That doesn't mean anybody "approves" of it. You'll never hear Fox News ask any representative of the Democratic Party directly whether they approve of it because when they hear the answer they won't be able to spend hours on tv talking about it anymore.
