Side note, our good friend that works in the ER was over last week and she said she’s had 3 patients die of Covid in her last 2 shifts. That’s not people admitted to the Hospital. That’s people going to the ER because they’re sick and dying before they’re admitted. If you think that happens with the flu you’re crazy.

No I do not know anyone who had it or has directly dealt with it in a hospital setting. Anyway, I am not a virus denier, never was but I am still skeptical of any “new study” just because the science and understanding of the virus is always changing as more data is collected. So many studies on the virus have already been retracted or debunked.
I understand that it affects people with underlying conditions particularly bad and especially obese people and we have a lot of obese people in the US. I just don’t see what else we can do to stop it as almost every country is going through this.
