Druff, I didn’t “forget” what I thought when I was a Republican. In fact, remembering it so well is a reason why I get super frustrated with your bobbing-and-weaving about actual facts and related concepts in defense of the modern GOP, and especially so with Trump as president. Because in so many cases, I see you being willfully ignorant of things that destroy the merit of many positions you take on issues that I have spoken out against.

In a sense, I see you as a younger version of myself, but you are increasingly unable to evolve in your political thinking because of your strong emotional investment in Republican partisanship.
