I wanted to post something like this and totally agree, Brandon has the golden voice and personality to match. Druff on his own is great but add some Brandon and it goes up two notches. Only issues he is super flaky and not reliable for a ton of different reasons. Plop and SS will go nowhere on there own the only way they get anyone to listen to them is riding the coattails of druff and Brandon. This is Jasep #2 joke

These certainly are strange times we live in.
I'll try to make this post as short as possible.
I haven't posted here except one short cameo (FREE CHAPS!!!) since the cmoney debacle. I didn't agree with it from the start. Advised against it. Wouldn't participate in it etc. But i still maintained several close offline relationships with forum members i.e. Druff, Plol, Sonatine, simpdog, shefaced etc. In fact, this past April 1st a lady friend of mine spent over 3 hours on the phone with BetCheckBet posing as stripper who moonlighted as a phone census taker for the Cambodian government.
I digress...
Almost 3 years ago I went to Best Buy and spent $1300 on a dell xps laptop that Druff assured me had the correct stereo mix software to do radio. My intent was to do my own, non poker related type show on PFA. Unfortunately the version of stereo mix on the dell wasn't compatible with the way druff runs radio so I was left with an expensive laptop I didn't need.
I stopped doing radio with Druff only because I was burnt out of talking about poker. Especially in such a long format. I knew I couldn't sit there week after week and contribute without making sarcastic comments, tangents, and the like which I knew would annoy Druff and change the tone of the show that he wanted. There really is a demand for the type of show Druff does and I didn't want to ruin it for the weekly listeners who enjoyed it and expected the same content and format week after week.
I recently came back to radio after Traderrusky asked me to come on. Druff was gracious to cater the 2 shows I was on to my interests and we had 2 great shows. But Druff knew that I was never going to be able to be on week in and week out. I would burn out pretty fast.
My forum and real life friend Sonatine messages me a few months back. Tells me he is starting a stock forum. Tells me he ONLY wants to talk stocks. Doesn't want the poker stuff nor any pfa drama spilling over. I wish him luck and tell him I'll support my friend in anyway I can. Without me knowing or asking Sonatine makes me a mod without any expectation of me actually doing anything.
Plol is also a good online and real life friend. Part of being home so much during this Asian Virus has given me clarity. My relationship with Plol has made me realize for the first time that I am pansexual. Although I have never been with a man in any sexual capacity, I have come to find myself very attracted to him. He is thin, very neat, clean cut and enjoys several interests I do such as fine dining, sports and travelling. As of now we are quite affectionate towards each other but not sexual in any way.
I only mention this because a couple of weeks ago, PLOL proposed that the four of us (Sonatine, SS, PLOL, myself) do a radio show together. It was agreed it would be non poker, non gambling etc and not in any way be similar to Druffs show. It would be on a youtube channel live and we would all appear on video, which is something I had never done before. It piqued my interest.
I have always been a fan of SS. I think he is a comedic genius. Plus he knows all the technical stuff to run a show, which I of course don't. It was a no brainer for me and I was pretty excited.
Sonatine had been on other shows with me and he is hilarious, smart, and very witty.
PLOL has the perfect dry sense of humor for a show like ours and knows me well, so i knew the chemistry would be great.
We agreed to do 10 shows on Sunday night and then we could reevaluate after to continue on or pull the plug. But we all committed to do 10. Druff was incorrect in stating that Sunday night was chosen to compete with PFA. Only PLOL knew Druff was currently doing pfa radio on Sundays. Sonatine, who suggested the day, stated he had no idea as Druff does move around radio days from time to time.
Lastly, I made it clear to my 3 partners that I would only do this if it didn't copy Druff's show. I suggested we all work together- we would promote pfa radio, Druff would give our show a shout out. Back in the Vegas Poker Radio days, this is exactly what we did and it worked out fine. I even did two shows a week for over a year.
Point being, I never endorsed nor would I ever support a competing site to PFA. We all can disagree on many things. Even I, from time to time have had civil disagreements with Druff on past decisions, but that's the nature of the beast. Its inevitable and quite impossible for every decision Druff has made to be popular with everyone. But Druff unquestionably has dedicated more time and energy to keep this community together than anyone else has and for that singular reason alone, no one should try to create a similar site with the expressed motive of tearing PFA apart. There barely is enough traffic to keep one site afloat.
So that's really it. I know some of you are going to think I did something sinister, as I do always seem to be involved with this type of nonsense.The truth is really everything I posted. I am sure Druff would even validate what I have stated. I really detest being a part of any of this drama. I don't want to hurt PFA or this community. I just would like to do a fun show with my friends that I hope all of you would enjoy.
