I explained to this guy that I don't feel Brandon betrayed me at all, and I will explain it again here, just for clarity's sake.

As far as I can tell, Brandon wasn't part of any of this until they approached him recently about radio. And it was pitched to him like, "Hey, I know you've wanted to do a show where it's not about poker, how about joining our show over here?"

That sounded appealing to him, so he said yes. That's it.

It was actually his idea that we have today's conference call, because he's friends with most of the people involved in this dispute, and he doesn't like seeing everyone arguing. He's basically staying out of it, and hoping he can help with the process of people coming to terms.

My issues are not with him, and he is welcome back on the PFA show when he feels like doing it, as always.
i'm obv not involved, but why is this call necessary?

why don't you just agree that they not promote their site on your forum?

i just saved you all an hour of your time.
I had considered saying fuck it, and doing just that -- making a rule that the new forum can't be promoted or linked, and then dropping the matter.

However, I am interested in hearing everyone out. I'm not going to sit there debating or arguing for hours though. If the tone of the conversation is, "Regardless of how it looks, this was all 100% innocent and it you're just taking it the wrong way", it will be a very short call.

I'm not looking for apologies or asskissing. However, if I don't feel I'm being dealt with honestly, I'll just get off the call and be done. And if they are dealing with me honestly, then we can discuss where to go from there.

It is very possible that we won't reach any sort of agreement, and will just have to go our separate ways.
