This is the first week where we haven’t dropped deathwise. Was a pretty downward trend in deaths week after week. This week looks like it might be the stabilized bottom in summer. I have a feeling this past month might be as good as it gets until a vaccine with cases rising this much. Once all these young people spread it to more vulnerable people, the numbers of deaths are likely to start rising. It won’t be as bad with it under control in cities where people live on top of each other, but its serious in a number of high population states.
I’m really struggling to see school and normal life again in the fall.
A girl who I went to school with is an ICU nurse in Charlotte. I don’t talk to her, but my buddy and her were a couple way back and have always stayed in contact through the years. She said she lost a 38 year old mother a few nights ago. Her father in law had gotten it and passed, but the 38 year old passing was rough on the staff. Said she reported no health issues. Maybe she had something underlying, but nothing in the medical record.
I’m curious for another Daly check in. I saw Miami-Dade had a 100 % increase in ER admissions.

Not much choice but to live life, but fall/winter man, it feels like a bloodbath in the making with all these cases circulating. I really hope the vaccine talk isn’t just wishful thinking.
Granted being at altitude is not easy but have also noticed dips in running stamina - still running 3-6 miles 6x week but it's much more of a chore.

I remember when Sloppy Joe posted about "possibly" having it, I said that he had it for almost certain, given his very specific symptoms. However, I know he's like 33 and claimed his case was fairly mild, so these after-effects are surprising to read.
Sounds like some possible lung damage occurred here? Do you see any other signs that you're not the same since recovering, aside from not being able to do fairly strenuous exercise?

At the gym I coughed up a hocker in a weak area of my lung that’s been there since the pups and mine covid sx. I recommend DAILY cardiopulmonary exercise and healthy diet to return your body to normal function. I may make the leap to donate blood again because of my hyperhealth lately, and they now test for antibodies which I would then make a I GOTS THE BODIES necklace to combat weirdo mask people.

My step-sister is your age Druff and she’s a nurse in the DMV area and test positive a little over a month ago. For about two weeks she had fever, fatigue, cough, congestion, muscle aches etc. Muscle aches were worst part. Also lost senses of taste and smell. What’s weird is her fever would go away and then come back a day or two later pretty strong, and that happened multiple times.
All in all lasted about two weeks. But it’s been over a month now and she still doesn’t have her senses of taste and smell back.
This virus is so damn weird how it affects people so completely differently. It’s honestly one of the things that makes me not rule out the fact it was somehow man made.
