Saying that women and gays most likely would disagree with some of Pooh's points and that his language would lead you to believe that he is racist is me lying? Or nonsense?
Find posts where I express a solid liberal agenda before you start calling me a liar.
At least I can say that I don't look at political party affiliation when choosing the right person for the job.
Can you?
"You run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole; you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."
So gays are going to vote for Obama because he supports gay marriage and women because of free contraceptives? It's fucking stupid. How about the economy? How could all these young college kids vote for a guy and then never be able to get a job because of the jerk they voted for? People are morons.
I'm not so much voting for Romney as I am voting against the Obuma.
One mistake Romney made last night was mentioning PBS.
I wish Republicans would leave PBS alone, because the financial gain from not funding it is negligible, and the political backlash from unfunding it will cost you a good deal of votes from those in the middle.
It's a dumb issue to be attacking from a political standpoint, even if you believe PBS doesn't deserve public funding. Sometimes you just need to let shit like this go and concentrate on important issues that really resonate with the people.
Romney did a pretty good job of sticking to important issues last night, but the PBS thing was stupid and shouldn't have been mentioned.
Big jobs report tomorrow morning. Obama desperately needs to break the 8% barrier either tomorrow or Nov 2. It's like 43 straight months over 8%. Obviously its working, whatever he's doing.
I will give Obama one thing. And this is not because of him but in spite of him. The stock market has done extremely well on his watch. In fact, the stock market has done better during Dem terms overall. Unfortunately, most people were so poor, or scared from the recession, that they didn't have their money in the market much at all.
That number is worthless considering 8 million have just flat out given up and left the work force. Add that 8 million into the equation and it is over 9% easy.
Just more fixing of the numbers, and even so they STILL can't get it under 8%.
Old but relevant...

I think its the lies that piss me off the most. It really has nothing to do with black or white, rich or poor...it's just the lies that people believe. The guy brags each month how he's creating 200,000 new jobs a month. What he fails to tell the people is there are almost 2 million less jobs than when he took office.
"You run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole; you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."
You'd have a point is this was 1982. But in 2012, families have cable and Direct TV for many years now, and most probably thought PBS was off the air. Seriously, with 20 cartoon channels now, how many 4 year olds are going to watch a channel stuck in the 70s. I am sure many voters were like, WTF PBS is still on the air?
Romney was smart when he said he liked PBS, but he did not want borrow from China to pay for it. I guarantee you that resonated much more to Independents who have not thought about PBS in 20 years. PBS would fold like a tent without federal funding because it could get no advertisers because nobody watches it.
67 Million people watched the debate, 15 Million more than 2008. Rasmussen's poll, who was deemed the most accurate in the 2008 election, comes out Sunday morning. We will see if the 67% from the CNN poll translates into points for Romney. The last debate that turned the election was Reagan-Carter in October 28th, when virtually every undecided went to Reagan after the debate, sending Jimmy Carter to the Presidential Scrap heap of history and Reagan on to legendary status.
Druff, I agree with you based on the premise that the amount given is insignificant so why bother. I did think that Romney got in a good line about big bird and Lehrer, and I don't think anybody gives two shits about PBS funding.
If they do, they were never going to vote for Romney to begin with.
