You make it sound like you are this ballin gambler taunting everyone to bet all the time.

The reason nobody is taking you bet is because Obama is ahead. It would be like accepting a bet at haltime with your team down 21 points.

Romney always had an uphill battle because he complains about 47 million being on food stamps whereas Obama embraces it. At least the momentum might be turning though.

But this thread was not about the first Tuesday in November. It was about tonight's debate where Obama was clearly outclassed by someone who is clearly more competent. But here again, you did not watch it because your guy got trounced. If there tables were turned you'd be here giving your analysis. You sure showed up her right when the debate was over though and sure sound pretty petty right now.

At least you increased your bet from $200 to $500 though. You must have received some nice overtime last month.
    BOOM! Headshot.

    No shit.

But unless you have someone with about $10 billion to donate, and 10 years of their time to devote to the cause, it aint happening.

That is what it would take to truly establish that 3rd party.

    But it COULD be done.

In related news, Tito Ortiz said that he should have been training at altitude for at least three weeks to prepare.

5000 feet isn't likely to cause much altitude sickness/effect unless you are exercising vigorously.

If they were debating on the top of Mammoth Mountain (11,000 feet), this might be a valid excuse.

For a smart guy, Algore says a lot of stupid things.

this is one of many simple solutions, but the governing party always wants to tie education funding to some partisan hack bullshit like absstinence programs or evolution or creationism or minority school funding......then nothing gets done. Education is an emotional issue for those of us with kids and education bills get each party stirred up and the idealogue creeps of each party come spewing out of the congressional toilet, overrunning any chance of a common sense bill.

Again I belive our country is being ruined by two things: non comprimising idealogical politics (as opposed to practical) and special interest groups and their lobbying. Their lobbying is so massively successful because the survival instincts of our lawmakers allow them to be bought for pennies on the dollar. 50 million in donations and lobbying often leads to billion dollar results. If corporations that understand bottom lines so well are spending money on politics, you know goddamn well they are going to recoup a "profit" out of that investment. We must find a way to stop this practice.

Here is a dumb question, but I don't know a ton about politics so forgive my ignorance...

If Romney is such a bad candidate, wouldn't it be better for the long term interest of the Republican Party if he lost this election and in 4 years a more suitable republican candidate ran for president rather than having him win and then get probably 8 years out of him?

If he wins the Presidency and is as terrible as some people think he will be than in 8 years won't that just set the stage to flip back to a democrat vs. Having someone run in 4 that will do a much better job and possibly set up a longer republican run? I would think a lot of the better candidates sit out the elections that will require them to run against the current president.

Elect people who have no political career ambitions and at least seem like they truly want to serve the people. Say what you will about Jesse Ventura but one promise he made and kept was that he would not be a career politician.

Any Republican is 100000% better than Obama. Actually I'd take another Dem. just to get Obama out of office.

Pretty sure most women or a gay person could argue otherwise.

    Why? Can they not vote?

Oh and thanks for proving, like sixtoed, how racist and closed minded you really are.

I'm not racist or sexist. I'm against Obama. Period point blank. It just so happens that faggots and n-words love the guy. Here's a newsflash: Barack Obama does not give a fuck about you. Oh boo hooo, Mit Romney is so rich so we can't vote for him because he's out of touch. Well your Obama is worth at least 10 million. He's not middle class like you fucks want him to be. He's a joke of a president. Get him the fuck out.

Big government sucks. As a country, we are as bad off as when he took office maybe worse. I guarantee every supporter of Obama here is middle class at best. I'd be surprised if any of them make over $50k a year or have a net worth of greater than $100k. If you do then switch sides immediately.

Not sure who "your" refers to. I never said that I am voting for Obama.

Curious what guys like you and sixtoed are going to do post-election. Still bitch I guess?

Partisan politics sucks. Real shame our country is so happy with constantly being played by our our elected officials.

    Pooh clearly winning this thread.

And LOL about Gamble saying to pay teachers even MORE than the unions already extort out of our pockets to solve education problem. Get rid of the fucking unions, that would be the first step into improving our education system. Then maybe we could fire the worthless trash that sucks the system dry, wasting time and money. That is government...wasteful, inefficient worthless at EVERYTHING they stick their noses in.

Typical liberal, just try to throw money at the problem and that solves everything. Guess what, the cost to educate a private school student is LESS per child than the public school system spends...and guess who obliterates the other with success?

Newsflash, the left has been throwing money at every problem under the sun for the last 30 years, and it hasn't produced jack shit in the way of results. So yeah let's do MORE of that!!
