Contract tracing can work if lockdown measures are kept in place long enough for proper social distancing measures to halt the indiscriminate spread of the disease. Here’s a recent success story out of California despite some people breaking the rules.

Unfortunately, the key impediment is still testing capability, which was super late and thoroughly, incompetent in handling once that issue could no longer be ignored due to the “fake news” coverage. Trump just wants to ignore and hope it miraculously goes away. And conservatives like you are peddling that “contract tracing can’t work” only serves to provide cover for Team Trump’s disastrous handling of this matter.
P.S. And it helps promote the dangerous policies Trump and his apologia drones are peddling, and some GOP governors are taking, to reopen the economy too soon as recommended by — wait for it — epidemiologists, even those working for the CDC!
