If the Republicans picked Nikki Haley she’d kill Biden. She’s always played the game well. Isn’t viewed as always in lockstep with Trump. Hasn’t pissed his base off. Isn’t tainted by this virus or the economy issues. She’s pretty well-liked universally. Doesn’t have a thousand clips of silly statements to make ads out of.

Trump was a super heavy favorite on Thanksgiving imo, but now, there are way surer bets if you could just hand it to someone.

If the Dems could just hand the nom to someone, a Michelle Obama would kill Trump. A guy who forgets where he lives half the time is maybe a coin flip to slight fave against Trump right now

It feels weird too. Everything has a twilight zone vibe right now. Between these guys age and everything else, no matchup has ever felt less certain in May of an election year.

Predictit is sitting there with Biden at .79 to get nom with it already over.

We all assume most of us are going to get this virus at some point. These guys have way more interaction than a normal sheltered person. That 70-80 demographic is 8% to pass if you get it, but Trump is technically obese, Biden closer to 80 than 70. If you’d assume they both get it, which is a big assumption, but not crazy, it would be over 15% one would pass.

Then you add Biden being mid-stage dementia and nobody in love with our candidate, it doesn’t feel at all crazy that we could end up with a different matchup.

Clearly Trump isn’t getting replaced unless he got sick and died Biden has that possibility and just the fact he’s lost his marbles.

Honestly, it's all going to come down to who will be willing to wait in line to vote. This notion of mail-in balloting by November is fantasy land. Really they should just cancel the election in all but ten or eleven states when you think about it. I mean why even have an election in Oregon or West Virginia when you think about it.

If you think state X is going to approve this and get the technology ready to go before November I really don't know what to tell you. BTW, the characters at Disney world are not really giant mouses and ducks. They are humans dressing up in costumes just so you know.
