He's also not about "justice" or "repairing the world". He's just a communist, who has vocalized support for communist dictatorships.

His support of Israel is phony. He gives it lip service, but none of his actual positions on specific pro-Israel matters ever come down on the side of Israel. Again, nothing about him is Jewish other than his heritage.

If you want to ignore your Jewish upbringing and become an atheist, that's your right. If you want to befriend, support, and hobnob with open anti-Semitic politicians, that's your right. However, you don't get to claim Jewishness for political expediency after doing so.

I would be embarrassed as a Jew to call him "the first Jewish President" when he's an Israel-hating atheist.
Nice deflection from addressing my implied question. Because you have yet to explain how your politics honors the two key Jewish values mentioned in the video. So, I’ll give you another chance.

    Okay?

"Justice": Republicans are always the ones who seek the harsher penalties for violent criminals, while Democrats find every excuse they can to let them out of prison earlier.

"Repairing the world": Republicans tend to be far more hawkish when it comes to taking out dangerous dictators or terror groups. The US stockpile of nukes basically runs a check on any would-be Hitler types who want to take over the world and use their nukes to hold it hostage.

I'm not going to go into any of this further, and I'm sure you'll come back with your own interpretation of why the above statements of mine aren't true. Regardless, there's no way Democrats can stake claim to these two qualities and say that it's obvious they have them and Republican's don't.

Druff, stop responding to him, we were all doing so well denying him the attention he so desperately craves.

seriously, druff, we are all working very hard to make your forum readable and you literally kneecap us at every turn by feeding this person attention, despite knowing he's a bad actor and has no interest in your opinions beyond provoking you to acknowledge him.

fox and every conservative show is running with Biden clearly has dementia 24/7. And unlike the Hillary is dying nonsense, this is likely somewhat true, or already true. I do wonder how trumps very old average voter will feel about that? I assume that’s possibly a sensitive topic?

How did we manage to choose the one guy that Donald Fucking Trump and Rudy Giuliani can call senile? By the time we get to the convention gay Pete might be the only one not dead of corona that can form a coherent sentence.

The real reason that Druff likes Joe Biden is because Joe is a fucking Republican.

Two years after Roe v. Wade was decided Joe Biden said: "I don’t like the Supreme Court decision on abortion. I think it went too far. I don’t think that a woman has the sole right to say what should happen to her body."

joe is joe. hes a centerist. people arent voting for him so transgender sex workers have the right to unionize in south dakota, they are voting for him because we need a government again and because he believes in science and he isnt a religious extremist.

    honestly its not complicated.

Obviously, Joe is going to need someone else to do the thinking for him. Sorta like George W had Cheney. I mean without all the evil.

They could wheel Joe all around and it would be nice

Who would that be? I haven’t been to the water cooler lately.

Warren really, really wants to be VP. The problem is that she may not bring the angry Bernie Bros back home, because they hate her at the moment for not dropping out before Super Tuesday, and still not endorsing Bernie. When Bernie loses, they're gonna blame her.

Kamala Harris is another choice. On one hand, she checks a lot of the boxes -- female, black, not old... on the other hand, she already has baggage regarding her treatment of black people as prosecutor, so that's not going to soften the angry "Biden voted for the crime bill" people.

Stacey Abrams, another black woman, is another possibility. Amy Klobuchar leads on Predictit, but I don't see it happening. She attracts the same people as Joe does.

Very likely it will be a woman, though.

He's gonna pick Harris and they're gonna run a "tough on crime" ticket, while Trump continues to let drug offenders out of prison. Biden/Harris will lock them back up and keep our country SAFE

grain of salt this but im starting to think bernie bros are literally no longer relevant, and im basing that on the sheer volume of suburban dem mobilization. toss in disaffected / alienated trump voters and i think the bernie bros are going to get exactly what they want; a far left political party of their very own. they wont ever sit in the white house but they can certainly influence platforms for support. honestly im good with that.

The establishment Dems pushing for Joe Biden to be the Dem Party nominee must be glad that Biden doesn’t have any other close relatives who having been trying to make money off their connection to such a powerful political figure.

I must admit: While I would prefer Bernie winning the nomination, I’d gladly vote for Joe Biden in November to defeat Trump even if Biden ends up by that time not be able to remember his own name and uncontrollable starts shitting himself while in public and doesn’t even realize it. And if Kamala Harris is his running mate and Biden wins, I’d love to see her live up to her promise of fully prosecuting Trump for the crimes he’s committed once she and Biden’s Cabinet 25th Amendment him.

5 stages of accepting Joe Biden as your nominee:
    1. Denial - BERNIE CAN STILL WIN!
    2. Anger - I can't fucking believe this is happening! What is wrong with Democratic voters!!!
    3. Bargaining - Maybe we can get a contested convention and Warren and Gabbard will sway voters to Bernie
    4. Depression - Whatever, I don't even care anymore. I hope I get coronavirus
    5. Acceptance - I can't wait to vote for Daddy Biden in November and defeat Trump
