The dollop podcast latest episode The Clarence Thomas Hearings seems to be aimed partly on Joe Biden accusing him of bigotry and some racism. The whole episode makes me sic but well done if it is all accurate.

bernie and biden are going to be tied and honestly this nightmarish.

The line is Bernie winning 3.5 more states. The way things look /right now/ is Biden skates to a majority and we had all this contested convention talk for nothing.

For Sanders to mount a comeback he needs to do the following:
    1. Win Michigan next week
    2. Get some positive media/narrative flowing
    3. Have a good debate on the 15th, which needs to then lead to winning Illinois, Arizona, and Ohio. Or at least winning 2 of the 3 and not getting blown out in any of those. Forget about Florida, it's a lost cause

Bonus if you can get new damaging info about Biden. Like actually damaging, not just Biden having a mental gaffe where he implies he's banging his sister. Those mental gaffes never affect Joe's poll numbers, they just make for late night talkshow fodder.

Oh and probably Warren needs to drop out and endorse him.

Fyi, Sanders is +600 on my book

If I’m a right winger trying to recruit young Bernie supporters this morning, I feel like I could make a fairly compelling case to all these “woke” young Bernie supporters that you’ve spent a whole lot of time concerned with defending the downtrodden black man, and at the end of the day, does it appear they give a single fuck about your struggle?

Why are exit polls saying 65% support Medicare for all and only 20% voting for the only candidate that runs on it?

Could it be because they already have zero copay health insurance and are the largest beneficiary of food assistance and every other government program per capita?

All this talk about how black voters are just more conservative. In what way are they conservative? Near 75% of their children are born out of wedlock. They receive a disproportionate amount of government assistance. So are they conservative or do they want to remain at the top of the list when it comes to help?

They get into schools with lower entrance exams. They have less debt than you because they come from lower income homes. Stuff actual progressive fought for. Now they’re conservative Dems?

You don’t have to come with us. You should be sure they don’t give a fuck about you, but either way, just sit out an election and let the Republicans have their way and rip them off public assistance and take away their free health care and see if they get a whole lot less conservative and a whole lot more progressive.

You’re already couch surfing while they have government subsidized housing. You’re working two jobs and have no health care and theirs is free. What exactly do you have to lose? Have you been “woke” or asleep?

Those white Dems in the suburbs got theirs when school was cheap and they’re insured. What’s in this for you? Let the boomers on Medicare and black people have their candidate and you just sit this one out.

If I’m a right-wing strategist, this is the line I’m taking. Division. Never been an easier time to peel off a bunch of young pissed off white kids. You won’t get most because they don’t know anything other than being “woke”, but I’m going to find a lot of receptive ears.

I see this election as kind of a turning point. I can fracture Dems in a significant way

i highly doubt 65% of democrat voters actually believe in abolishing private insurance in favor of medicare.

the way that question is worded is super important.

for example, people answering the nbc exit poll question -- "Do you support a single government health insurance plan for all?” may not understand that this means getting rid of private insurance

Isn’t it over? Bernie can’t possibly get to 1991 and the super delegates will never back him. So really, what is his path to winning? Biden dying?

How to Blowberg half a billion dollars lolz. Delusional dummy should have spent that money on things that matter.

biden could choose to speak at the next debate and there's always huge risk in that

Seems like the DNC is so scared of Bernie that they will find a way to get Biden to the finish line no matter what.

I’m mad at Biden, but Bloomberg would have made me more comfortable and started a worse war. I just think that is coming in some form.

    It's not over.

Biden did well last night because Barack Obama got everyone on board to support him. Problem is Biden doesn't know what the fuck he's doing or where he is.

    Trump will destroy Biden.

he meant "isn't the democratic primary over," which it obviously is, not whether biden will beat trump.

honestly what gives me the most hope for biden are these 'trump will destroy biden' posts.

I don't understand the above graphic.

Biden's total campaign is based upon the promise that he's not bringing a revolution, and that he is a safe/sane alternative to Trump.

I would be far, far happier with a Biden Presidency than a Bernie Presidency. It's not even close.

At least with Biden in office, I don't need to worry about idiotic radical change coming to this country, and it seems that Medicare For All will at least be delayed while politicians maybe figure out how to figure out the flawed healthcare system which exists now.

Also lol at that graphic saying "student loan reform" when the "reform" is just forgiving all student loans. I don't even understand that position from the left, because it benefts arbitrary middle and upper-middle class people, most of whom have a medium/high earning potential, and does nothing for the poor and working class. I guess the modern left just wants to appear compassionate and doesn't care if their spending makes any sense.

Sanders and Biden disagree on just about everything.

Biden and Trump agree about almost everything.
