Sad to see the college season end. By far my best season to date but I suppose getting the Hiesman and NC at 20-1 is going to help that.
6 more months until Phil Steele is out.

tennis season should be very profitable
Speaking of Circadian Rhythms I’ll offer an observation at 2:40am. I’ve never spoken it aloud so its kinda unformed.
Listen to the tennis announcers. They are brutally accurate in their assessments of players games. Frankly, learn to trust their insights and see if that squares with the live odds. Tennis live algorithms are in their infancy and underdeveloped cause there is no action. That will not last forever.
Unlike any other sports announcers tennis announcers are nerds for the game. They are not fanboys of the local team or player.
They are not trying to appeal to a mass audience. It’s a niche audience and they know it.
Tony Romo and Booger Whatshisname are appealing to beer swilling middle America and now their women. Their observations are crap. Football is too complicated for the twitter crowd.
John Sterling of the Yankees radio broadcast and his funny home run calls is worthless insight from a 30 year homer.
You have learned to dismiss the nonsense. I suggest you use the tennis guys.
Very weird day in the NBA for me.
For a moment around 9pm PT, I thought I was going 0-5.
- Three of my picks had already lost, including the Minnesota game which slowed down in scoring at the end and came within 3 of tying
- The Magic had blown a double-digit lead and got overtaken by Sac in the final 12 seconds. Orlando was behind by 1 with the ball. If they missed, it would be over.
- The Lakers were through 3 quarters, and would need 68 4th quarter points in a blowout for me to win that over. Also, they had no AD, so I got a line 7 points worse (!!) than those who bet after that announcement.
Well, first the Magic scored with 1 second left on an Aaron Gordon basket, and he got fouled, to make it a 3-point play. 114-112 Magic, but it wasn't over. Kings got off a shot and a tip-in attempt in that final second, both of which missed, and I had my +110 victory.
Then the Lakers/Cavs somehow put up 73 points in a mostly trash time 4th, and I covered there by 5.5 points.
Because I had the +110, I only lost 0.99 units on the whole thing, instead of 5 units. Huge swing. Never felt so lucky while losing.
2020 Heisman odds on bovada. Any early longer shots you like Daly? D’Eriq King is interesting as he just confirmed he’s transferring. If he ends up at LSU or Oregon could be great value. If he ends up at Arkansas, Miss St, Ole Miss, FSU, Miami etc then waste of money as those teams aren’t going to be good enough for a heisman winner even with him.
Jamie Newman odds way too high for the conservative UGA offense.
I think Sam Howell will put up monster numbers but no shot at winning this next year.
Justin Fields +175
Trevor Lawrence +550
Adrian Martinez +1200
Spencer Rattler +1200
D'Eriq King +1600
Jamie Newman +1600
Sam Ehlinger +1600
Bo Nix +2000
Kedon Slovis +2000
Mac Jones +2500
Myles Brennan +2500
Ian Book +3500
Kellen Mond +3500
KJ Costello +4000
Sam Howell +4000
Chuba Hubbard +5000
Kyle Trask +5000
Micale Cunningham +5000
Najee Harris +5000
Ehlinger is interesting at 1600...
He had a dogshit year this year relative to what he did as a sophomore...
another thing that I think needs to be posted for posterity...
don't know which is more absurd playing an SEC schedule...the 5600 yards or the 60 (65 total) TDs...
On the surface that makes a lot of sense, but perusing some OU sites and it seems they are really high on the kid Rattler, and don’t want another one year QB as they think that will run him off AND kill their future high school QB recruiting. But who knows maybe Lincoln Riley is like F it let’s run it back once more then I’m off to the NFL.
Sam Howell dropped from 40 to 25 now too. I don’t hate Mond at 35 to 1. Alright I’ll quit hijacking the thread now just found the early movement on some of these interesting.
Howell is interesting in the dogshit ACC...
think mond is shit...remember they're in the SEC West and have some combo of LSU, Bama, Auburn to play every year...think you'd need a helluva lot of a premium to take an SEC QB...just increases the chance that you'll have that one clunker of a game which really hurts...burrow was an incredible outlier this year...
This is a situation where Other +1000 is a great value. Lamar Jackson and Joe B were both “other”. Matt Ryan when he won NFL MVP was “other” as well.
I have a personal rule that the wager for this sort of thing has to be mIn 10-1. So many things need to go right for one guy to win. Fields is the chalk and deservedly so. Lawrence will have the same sechedule problem and a strong running game. Can’t deny Rattler at that price, if he gets the job 12-1 is cheap.
I’m now hearing King may go to Ark which would be interesting but not for his Hiesman prospects.
“At the price” I see value in Matt Jones and Chuba.
Vegas put both games square in the Wong teaser window which tells me a dog will win...... but maybe not
