Trying to confirm my read that Scotty Clark is indeed a replicant. Since Scotty is now only posting on DD (he also thinks that DD is Martys site ROFL) I have to ask Scotty a series of questions on DD which is not where I want to do it. Alas whatever needs to get it done.

My favorite part of his DD excursion is how he says "I'm too old for Internet forum bullshit" whilst in the midst of creating an account at DD using the screenname EatChitDruff for the sole purpose of getting involved in Internet forum bullshit. This is a level of hypocrisy and projection usually only seen in politicians!

I checked out Scotty's Annie Duke blog posts -- nice rants. His history of the early UB is wrong in a few spots but he can't really be faulted for that, since so much of that stuff was lies and misinformation spread by UB's core owners. Hellmuth "came on" to UB in 1998, not 2004.

I also checked that John Nau guy out, the U of Montana college buddy of Garin Gustafson's who was also on the Best Damn Poker Show. He was indeed a college pal of Garin's but I can find no evidence that he was ever part of the SAE frat or was an AP investor, and I have rather comprehensive lists of both.

Just wondering if you read the whole thread. Scotty was banned for his monkey tilt so he won't be responding here. Do you think he was justified in his actions in this thread?

He has stated on another forum that he is going to do articles & expose Todd as a fraud & unethical & the whole nine yards. Again I'm just wondering what you think of someone's journalistic integrity when they state the conclusions of an upcoming article before they've actually fully, or presumably have not started, research on the subject matter?

Looking forward to your take on his journalistic integrity because I feel he has none at this point.

Yeah, I read the whole thread. Saw the ones over at DD, too. Seems way overblown by all parties but it is what it is. Now, that said, the last place I'm going to be looking for high standards of journalistic integrity is on a discussion forum... any discussion forum. These things are created to allow people to spew.

Pretty sure if you said this before your first article about the UB scandal, it would be hard for anybody to take you seriously.

And I know I'm using the phrase "journalistic integrity" pretty loosely when you consider the guy is just some anonymous internet blogger. But still pretty hard to take him seriously in this regard.

That's actually not true. Yes, I am disliked by various people that I've pissed off because of my outspokenness, but the people "hated" in poker are the ones who have actually done the community harm.

I'm not looking for publicity, though. Would be nice to get this site publicity (though not through a tiltmonkey like Scotty), but I'm really not looking for it myself.
