first, i think it was dish's point.

next, i view the US as more of one country than 50 separate countries, so yeah, i am not a fan of the electoral college in this day and age. we act more like the EU.

that said, we shouldn't abolish it outside of a constitutional amendment. republicans, however, will be adamant about changing our laws the second texas flips. if you check the polls, that could be in 2020, not that i believe that will really happen so quickly.
You view the country as all the same huh? You really think people in New York City vote with the same issues in mind as people in Nebraska? And as I said before Republicans won’t change their mind if Texas flips, that’s something that the dems do. Remember 5 years ago when dems had no problem with deporting illegals and securing the border? They were even for a wall.
