this was the gist of the red woman's message as well as thee source of her power; she too had a role to play.

because i was definitely 'hoping' for something more metaphysical from the showdown between life and death but when i view it through the above lens, it falls into place to a large degree.

also that soundtrack was transcendent and if i didnt know they couldnt afford him, id assume they brought in ryuichi sakamoto to compose it.
