looking at Jordan at 16:1, Fleetwood 33:1, brooks 29:1, day 38:1, finau 31:1...in a limited field event was thinking about sprinkling money on all of those guys at what seems like decent prices...
EDIT: got Jordan at 20:1 when I checked all my outs...fired on him at that price just in case he wins this week and he goes down to like 13:1...just cant resist at that price with his record at augusta...saw finau at 40...goddamn guy popped his fucking ankle outta socket in the par 3 last year (I posted the picture) and it looked like a fucking raw steak and he was definitely top 10 last year and he mighta even in the top 5...at 40, just can't pass it up...

The threashhold has to be relative. I think in today’s PGA you need at least 12/14 to 1. 10-15 years ago in the middle of Tiger mania people were blind betting anything that was over 3-1...... and they way he played it probably was +EV.
Certain golfers have certain strengths. Certain golf courses require strength in certain areas.
I like taking guys who are strong in a needed area whonhavent won yet at longer odds. Example if Tiger is going to win another major i think it’s going to be at The Open this year. But at the 8-1 price I’d rather take Fleetwood or Rose at longer odds.
