Billionaire Activist: AOC Is The Centrist, Not Howard Schultz
I know they're no black people on this site, so I'll say it, white people calling anyone an "uncle Tom" is highly offensive and flat out racist.
Check your white privilege at the sign in screen....please and thanks....

"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
She said the American dream is a myth, according to who?...
I find that these socialist types have the deepest resentments about generally alot of things in their lives, this is especially prevalent in anyone born in the 80's.
We were fed so much bullshit and propaganda that kids actually believed that all they had to do was complete college and everything would fall on their lap.
Some people face adversity with a sense of outrage and entitlement, like a little kid that isn't getting their way.
I've never been one to brood over a bad hand that was dealt to me or a bet that didn't go my way, the same goes with any adversity or mishap in my life.
There comes a point where everyone's perception on the world shift, some more drastic than others, this happens at an individual level unique to our individual lives.
There comes a time in our lives where the vail of hypocrisy is lifted and even a small child can see that things aren't the way we're being told.
Some people find injustices in our society, only to just accept them as the way things are. Other people are emboldened by the injustices in society and decide to do something about it.
I'm so jaded and objective that I can see the hypocrisy in just about everything, even in the most self righteous cause, simply because I choose to dig a little deeper. I just dont take things at face value, if I see an injustice or something I deem unfair, I try to find out those things came to be.
It is impossible for a centralized system of government to ever solve any problems facing individual citizens, yet politicians time and time again prey on the qualms of those in lower socioeconomic level, in particular the left.
Who wouldn't want free anything? Especially free healthcare and free college.
The problem is nothing is "free", "free" is a term made up to manipulate less informed people into conning them to buy something.
What AOC and many other leftists want me to buy is the illusion of "free" healthcare and "free" college, along with a myriad of other social programs, that I'm all for, if "free" was really "free".......

Nobody thinks it’s free and nobody says “free” apart from right wingers when criticising the left... nice strawman
I don't remember, not once, getting told that "to do was complete college and everything would fall on their lap." Both my parents graduated from college and they were broke as shit. Maybe they said that in other areas of the country, but not on the east coast/midwest.
Maybe you weren't told that everything would fall in your lap, but I'm sure you were told that youd have a better chance at success than someone that didn't go to college, and in some professions that is true.
I just think it's a tragedy how millions of kids that shouldn't have gone to college because their major is -ev financially, are now stuck with tens of thousands in debt all because they were fear mongered into higher education with a huge insinuation in greater opportunities than non college graduates.

Lucy Mercer was confirmed as having an affair, that officially ended in 1918 but may have continued clandestinely until FDR died; she was no relation
Margret Suckley was a 6th cousin and there are rumors of an affair, but no confirmation
Eleanor Roosevelt, FDR's wife, was 5th cousin of his father...supposedly after the Mercer affair ended in 1918 her and FDR stayed married but separate (Clinton-like?)

(long before there was a PFA i had my Grenade & Crossbones avatar at DD)
a wise man once told me that he wanted his son to go to college instead of jumping into the work pool, and I protested and said well if the son wants to just start working, and he has that passion, you know, let it ride. and he made a great point; college is where you learn to communicate with people in your chosen field. even if you choose a different field later on, you've learned how to learn to communicate in the new field.
and sure, thats maybe not an appropriate dogma to live by but it makes a strong case for why a college education can actually have pragmatic impact on peoples lives if they want more from their future than raging about elitist libtards on an 8th tier poker forum between entenmanns deliveries.
