Kamala Harris is the reason why most populated countries in California are not "Shall Issue" conceal carry. She as California Attorney General brought the appeal of Peralta v San Diego County to the full 9th circuit where the decision of the 3 judge panel of the 9th Circuit was reversed. If the panel decision had been allowed to stand, ordinary citizens in Los Angeles, San Francisco, & San Deigo counties would be permitted to conceal carry after taking required instruction. As it is now, only the politically connected in those counties get permits.
So if you are pro gun control you want her, but if you are pro 2nd amendment you don't.
And if you think she is going to win as POTUS, buy firearms now or invest in Strum & Ruger stock.
***breaking news update*** Eric Garcetti, mayor of Los Angeles, and a person that appeals to many potential Kamala Harris voters, has decided against running for POTUS.
So the chances of Kamala Harris POTUS have just improved some.
