    right, I don't see socialism so much as I see capitalist opportunists (real estate developers & construction contractors) using a social welfare to the poor argument to open up land for commercial exploitation at the expense of people living in neighborhoods of single family homes

    conclusion: the nimby's offer to the politicians was exceeded by that of the developers, the nimbys lost
