Fascinating you went with “The Usual Suspects”

Years from now PFA will be divided by those who read the deleted thread and those that did not. I propose we henceforth refer to it as the “ABC thread”.

In it, Druff describes assuming user identities as a BBS teen. (Don’t google BBS teen with kids in the room)

In the context of “who was banned” & “why” it was simultaneously extraordinary & disturbing. I was blowing a fuse trying to piece together just what in the fuck it all meant.

I was getting annoyed and creeped out but if Druff was going to offer us a puzzle I’ll take a crack at it.

Toward the end of the thread I posted a reference to “The Usual Suspects”. I thought it was pretty inspired if I do say so.

Bryan Singer (director) is quoted as saying that all the characters are Söze.

When asked point blank whether his character is Söze, Postlethwaite said, "Who knows? Nobody knows. That's what's good about The Usual Suspects."
Nobody knows here either. Is that the best part?

I closed by saying Druff was more Verbal Kint than Söze. That probably killed the thread. Sorry.

I’ll leave you with a little Richard Nixon from his speech just before boarding the helicopter.

Always remember, others may hate you, but those who hate you don't win unless you hate them, and then you destroy yourself.
