Im definitely no baseball expert, but im guessing that the game is pretty exciting and its in extra innings, and its a Dodgers home game and when they are behind overall.

(FTR Im not being sarcastic or anything either)

As a Brewers fan, all obvious things aside, i would really like to see the legend - Mr Baseball (Bob Ueker) see a world series win before his time is done. He deserves it.

If the World Series ends up Red Sox v Dodgers

    Hey Druff

Just wanted to catch you while you are composing your post about your undefeated streak attending Dodgers playoff games

Dodgers star studded lineup cost $200m & Brewers $109m

Has anyone reported the loss of $100m to authorities? Cause these two teams are dead even.

Also, some thoughts on Kershaw’s last game as a Dodger.

    TIA

Great win, dodgers really needed this one. being down 3-1 is pretty much nail in coffin, and they have never come back from that in playoffs or most teams in any sport of a 7 game series, only a handful have.

their offense in general and with runners in scoring position has been horrid these past few games
hopefully this wakes them up and they can start cranking out runs, sucks they have dumped the small ball stuff (with their style of home run hitting offense, feast or famine) when it is super important in playoff

Druff u going to the 2:05 game? We could use a win XD

Much as I hate the Dodgers I have to give them Props for battling Milwaukee for 13 innings and pulling it out in the end.. Theres no doubt had the Brewers pulled off tonights game up 3-1 they would've ended the Dodgers later today in Game 5.. The mental axe to the brain to go 13 innings holding their own and hell miraculously Jensen didn't shit the bed either, if theyd lost it would've been one big shitfest in Game 5.. Dodgers would've rolled over like a cockroach sprayed by Raid flaying for a min or two and croaking.. So now we have a series.. I still think Milwaukee wins the series especially if they do win tomorrow/today as they head home and only need one of 2 to win it.. As for the Red Sox.. Honestly I don't care I hate Boston less then I do the Stankees..Honestly the ALCS is the real world Series much like the NBA finals have truly been about the Western Conf Series more often then not the past several years.. either way Houston or Boston is going to likely Crush the NL Champs in 5.

We both know there was dried sperm on Druff’s shoes when he woke up this morning.

Was there a PFA evacuation warning that I somehow missed? Getting creeped out here

Gonna grab my go bag. Best be safe.

You know how to reach me.

Sanlmar, I am watching the game, and writing this during commercials, so I will write more later.

Last night, to celebrate the 13-inning walkoff victory which (at least for now) saved the Dodgers' hopes to return to the World Series, I drove 8 miles southeast of Dodger Stadium to play 60-120 at Commerce.

It was my first foray to Commerce since my LPR/anxiety issues popped up two months ago. I did play live poker twice in that span, but it was at a small poker room at 1-3 PLO8, just for fun. I also have played some Bovada 30-60 limit holdem. But this was my first attempt to play live poker for meaningful money since I started having my problems.

Was kind of a funny session. Got dealt a lot of hands preflop. Flopped a ton of top pairs. Most of those top pairs held up. At the same time, just about every draw was bricking. Near the end of the session, I had 56 suited, flop came J34, and after a lot of three-way action on the flop, the beautiful 2 fell on the turn. Anyway, I won almost $2500. Not a monster session, but a nice cap to the night. Played about 4 hours. Had to be back at home in the morning to drive Ben to school. Didn't want to run into any brutal LA traffic. Left Commerce at about 4:20am.

You'll be glad to hear, Sanlmar, that I don't have faith in Kershaw anymore. I think your criticisms of him in prior years was too harsh. A lot of his postseason failures came in the 7th inning when the Dodgers were afraid to use their then-terrible bullpen. Ironically, now that the bullpen is fairly solid, he's no longer the pitcher he once was.

Velocity is down. He doesn't have the physical tools he used to have. His injuries and early ascent to the Majors at age 20 have made him into a very old 30.

I admit that he lacks mental toughness to some degree. He gets rattled easily. While he's a better overall pitcher than Greinke, one thing that always impressed me about Greinke was that he wouldn't get rattled. It always amazed me how Greinke could give up 2-3 runs in the first due to some defensive failure of a teammate, and then shrug it off and throw 6 more innings of zeroes. Not Kershaw. He's notoriously emotional and hard on himself.

Fortunately, the Dodgers have their 2020s star rapidly developing, in Walker Buehler. Walker also has some growing to do as a player, but he's well on his way.

Kershaw started off badly, but has settled down. He really only had one bad inning, which he wiggled out of with only one run damage.

    His line so far:

    5 IP
    3 hits
    1 walk
    1 run
    7 K

If someone told me before the game that this would be his 5-inning line, I'd be happy.

Now Taylor just somehow turned an infleld single into being at 3rd base with nobody out. Gotta love how he's playing this postseason, after a mediocre year to follow his big 2017.

Dodgers have zero HR in their 27 innings played at Dodger Stadium this series, and scored just 3 runs total.

If someone told me that before Monday, I'd assume they were about to lose the series 4-1.

Instead, one more run will put them in position to leave up 3-2.

Barring a 9th inning meltdown, Dodgers will go into Milwaukee in the driver's seat.

Props to Kershaw recovering from a shaky 3rd inning to pitch a very good game.

Dodgers bullpen has been great this postseason.

The fact that Baez has returned to form (he seems to alternate from great to terrible back to great again, every few months) is huge.

Interesting story out of Boston. Sale is still "weak" from his stomach ailment which hospitalized him. He won't pitch tonight. I wonder what impact this will have on their series.

I selfishly want to see Houston win, so the ticket prices won't be crazy for the World Series. If Boston faces the Dodgers, it will be like $2500 minimum to sit anywhere halfway decent, and there's no way I'm paying that.

Puig just did one of this 2013-esque "Wild Horse" moves, where he hits what appears to be a routine single and then hustles it into a double.
