But I'll tell you, shit that pisses me off is look at the large windows looking out to swimming pool. Every single one of those are faulty and will be replaced yet we've been in house since November and the original shit is still in. They had ordered, delivered and had the guys show up to install and realized the schmuck measured wrong by like a quarter an inch. I was like why the F didn't they just ask the builder the exact specs? This was June. Starting to lose patience.

Top right is a nice whiskey, maybe $90. There's also some 19 yr old scotch in there as well although probably not more than $150ish.

To my credit this isn't a putting green you would see in your local sporting goods store. It's not real obviously but I'm also not stupid. As close you can get to being real as far as true roll. Mighty fine house you built Sir. Definitely worthy of a huge OPA! The pool is magnificent! The columns and large fireplace are very impressive. Only thing I would change if it was mine is to mirror the wall to the ceiling on the back bar. Oh and of course add a "Dogs Playin Poker" picture (LOL). The putting green is also kewl. Hope you enjoy many happy years in your abode. Can you tell I'm envious?

The mirrored wall is actually a pretty decent idea. I want to say I thought of it but the missus put the kabash on it for some reason or I just didn't want to spend the money. It's something I may look into because I agree with you. The dogs playing poker picture is a no go I will tell you that right now. This is almost an exact replica of that fireplace I posted a year ago that mumbles was all up in arms about. They literally hung that picture where the fireplace was going and built it exactly, with the exception of the columns. We went with corbels instead. They did try to fuck us by only building it 13 feet high which would've looked retarded considering those ceilings are 18 feet tall. The fireplace is 16 ft so the large crown moulding would fit.
mumbles-corinthian columns are out buddy. And those swirly ones are faggot as hell. Okay? With the ceiling height, columns were required and since this is a mediterranean house we couldn't go with the nice square wood columns (which are really nice by the way) and we wanted to stay somewhat neutral. Nothing in this house would be considered gaudy I hope as it wasn't intended to. We just wanted to build a nice house that someone would want to buy when we're ready to sell.

What’s the deal with the windows? Are they hurricane rated? Must cost a small fortune. I don’t see any provision for hurricane shutters.

They're all hurricane rated windows so no shutters needed. Shutters aren't even allowed in the community. The problem with the windows aren't related to safety issues. The fog is between the panes. Others have marks from where the stickers were on them. Only in the living room are the windows shit.
It's tough to own a place down here when you live far away. Especially in a different climate. A lot of bad shit can happen to a house in Florida if something goes bad like an ac unit in the summer and nobody is around to notice it for a while. Just a week and you're likely fucked with mold every where. Probably a good move to dump the thing. I'd bail during season if I were you. I think Naples is still booming. Not as much new construction to compete with since it's close to fully built out unless you go really out East. All the new construction moved up to my neck of the woods.
