Think you need to give it more time. This is the way home games are, high stakes with 'friends' giving financing. It's reality poker without a fake plot line, only realism.

Only people who played in dicey home games understand the stress levels and realism of this movie.

It's not Rounders, but Rounders was fake. This is reality.
