Unfortunately, they get a leadoff single, and then Jose Peraza clobbers a deep double, which surely will score a run -- except it bounces over the wall, and Hamilton has to stay at 3rd. Big break, FOR NOW. Still 2nd and 3rd, nobody out.
Then a tag-out at the plate on the next AB, and it's 1st and 2nd with 1 out, still 4-3. Then Hand struck out the next guy, but walked Scooter Gennett, and bases were loaded. Then he almost corked off a wild pitch, and the catcher made a tremendous save. Then he induced a fly-out to end the game.
I got lucky on this one.
So it appears these days I win the ones I'm supposed to lose, and lose the ones I'm supposed to win.
And it's better for Sanlmar to fade me than PLOL to tail me.
