that Holloway is out !
He was way off weight with too little out to go, and the NYSAC (who is super nitty about this stuff) made him stop the cut due to health concerns.
Max is a really big 145er. He really should be fighting at 155, but that's even a big cut for him because I think his manager said he walks around at 172-178 lbs.
Dehydration from big/bad weight cuts are known to contribute to concussions, and make symptoms worse. It was also the reason of death of the last two fighters to die in MMA (one from the weight cut itself in OneFC; the other from a bad weight cut, and then that fighter got KO'd and died in the ring during a promotion in Ireland).

I faded on Cormier when I could have got him at +230 or better a few days ago and it dipped to +180 a lot of places last night so I'm regretting it.
Like Cormier or not he's one of the most intelligent fighters to ever step foot in the octagon.
Derrick Lewis vs Francis Ngannou on the other hand wtf was that shit.

UFC delivers with yet another LOL PPV event.
The Brock Lesnar work at the end was the best thing about the card and not surprisingly no one said the word "USADA".
Gonna take some real shenanigans for DC v. Lesnar to escape USADA testing.

So if Brock is gonna fight in November, that means one of 3 things has happened/is happening. The first is that the UFC got USADA to just look the other way on part of his suspension, which seems like the least likely thing USADA would agree to, as it would kill their credibility dead. The second is that Brock Lesnar is already in the USADA testing pool and hasn't been tested yet, which also seems extremely unlikely and completely counter to how USADA handled him last time when they had him tested within the first 24 hours of his entering the testing pool. This would also kill their credibility. The 3rd possibility is that Brock is already in the pool and is being tested but for some reason (a deal with the UFC and WWE probably?) they are keeping that under wraps for now, which is totally against how transparent they always claim to be as far as who gets tested and when.
But if they want to put Brock in a heavyweight title match, I'll all for it. I've never had anything but a great time on nights Brock fights. There's nobody else even close to as interesting, and who's the next most deserving guy, Curtis Blaydes? No thanks, not yet anyway.
