SF is only -125 against the Cardinals despite the facts that:
- Luke Weaver has been awful lately
- Johnny Cueto has an 0.84 ERA
- Giants are at home
BUT
Cueto is coming off of a long-term injury, and Vegas keeps lowering the price for SF, even though most people are firing on it.
I strongly considered firing on St. Louis, but Weaver has been such a trainwreck recently, I'm going to stay away.
But definitely not taking the Giants.
Looks like I called that Cardinals game spot on.

I thought I had my 5th consecutive under win probably locked up, being 2-1 in the bottom 6th. Then the Pirates hung a 3 on the board.
Currently bottom of the 7th, so I gotta fade 2 runs being scored (and especially 3) in the final 2.5, or lose this one. Fortunately it's the Pirates leading (well, for me, not you), so there won't be a bottom of the 9th if my bet is still winning.

Doogie Houser MD screwed me. allowing 4 runs in 2 innings.
Why didn't they hook him?
Now I have to walk a tightrope in the 8th and 9th.
Boy I got fucked with this one.
Let me count the ways:
- 2-1 game after 5.5 innings
- Brewers leave in a terrible reliever in for 2 innings to give up 4 runs despite a close game.
- With the game 6-1 in the top of the 9th with 1 out and nobody on, a shot went off the pitcher's glove. Then an error. Then a seeing-eye single which was a hair away from being a double play ball to end the game, making it 6-2. Then a walk.
Now at best I'll tie this one, and the bases are loaded with 1 out. If another scores, I lose.
I mean what a fucking joke. So many factors had to come together to beat me on this one. Leaving a bad reliever in way too long? An off-the-glove comebacker, followed by an error, followed by a ball barely getting by the 2nd baseman? GTFO
This inning is fucking weird.

Obvious third strike and somehow it's ruled ball 2. The announcers are shocked.
Then a hit down the line which is close but ruled fair.
I say out loud, "I lose. Such a joke."
Run scores, it's over.
Then the umpire CHANGES HIS CALL after being shown that the ball made an indentation in the dirt to the left of the foul line.
They're challenging it but the replay shows it's clearly foul. Also this isn't supposed to be reviewable but it was reviewed anyway.
Then the guy singles anyway and I still lose.
This was one of the worst beats I've taken in awhile.
