So Donny Deutsch from MSNBC did this huge piece about how Cohen should turn on Trump and just end this national nightmare.
Standard stuff really.
Except apparently someone just spotted him having dinner with Cohen shortly thereafter.
"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness." - Alejandro Jodorowsky
"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
Oh, by no means it is a zero sum game.
I have no problem admitting that Trump is a retard and embarrassing.
What Trump did was to tap into a whole lot of discontent in fly-over country where the deplorables were realizing their country had changed without them. He said what a lot of people were thinking and which other politicians had been too afraid to utter; at least since George Wallace. Trump was rewarded for that. Oh, and he ran against the absolute worst person the Dems could have found. And here we are.
FWIW, I voted for the Libertarian in 08 as I couldn't stomach McCain and still can't and voted for Obama the second time as Romeny was worse than McCain. That said, I much prefer Trump's policies to those of Hillary or Bernie.

Cohen had a very human moment after the raid.
He immediately contradicted Trump's characterization of it and said the FBI were consummate professionals throughout the ordeal. He said he also wished he could go back in time and undo everything that brought him to this point because he never, ever wanted to put his family through this.
It did not feel rehearsed, it felt like he recognized that nothing was going to be the same for him ever again.

Trump threatening Russia is beyond terrifying. Not because he is threatening Russia but literally because he has no plan nor any idea on what his next steps are....
But they raided his offices with a warrant, which a judge granted because there is probable cause to believe he committed a crime.
I agree it would be hard for him to practice again, but it's his fault, not the FBI's. This has nothing to do with the attorney-client privilege.
HILLARY WON
I am a little confused on the whole Syria thing. I admit I went to 2+2 Politics forum (most of those guys are such big libtards they make Sonatine look fair and balanced) and the mood there seemed to be we should bomb Syria.
So as far as I can tell libtards are arguing Assad used chemical weapons and want Trump to attack Syria and the alt right crowd thinks this is a Jew lead conspiracy to get us to do Israel's bidding and weaken Assad/Iran for them and we should stay out. Is this correct?
Serious question, who told Mark Zuckerberg that he was witty? Seriously......
"Druff would suck his own dick if it were long enough"- Brandon "drexel" Drexel
"ann coulter literally has more common sense than pfa."-Sonatine
"Real grinders supports poker fraud"- Ray Davis
"DRILLED HER GOOD"- HONGKONGER
Trump must hate the Russians.
I don't reckon there was any substantial collusion, the Russians simply decided Trump would be a weakness they could exploit.
All this "he was in bed with the ruskies" must really piss him off.
As a well balanced genius, it's destroying his legacy.
I hope I'm wrong, but I think he might be dangerous. Russia has been laughing at him, and it's hurt his ego.
There's an ongoing disinformation campaign that seem to have started roughly around the time Russians started sending troops to Syria. And then there's the usual conspiracy whackos that support and are a part of that. I think their joint narrative is that all the chemical attacks are false flag operations except the ones that are committed by terrorists by the Russian standard. Russian standard for terrorists is everyone that's not allied with Assad.
The spin on the latest attack is apparently exactly same as it was in 2013 and 2017. Why would Assad use chemical weapons now when it brings attention and they are clearly winning the war? Why would a life long dictator do something brazen when his gotten away with it his whole life? By Assad's standards they have been winning this war since 2012. The why would Assad do something now would have merit if this was something out of the ordinary. It isn't and the whole narrative generally counts on the recipient at best being aware of the 3 most publicized events.
After the 2013 incident Assad was forced to give away 1300 tonnes of chemical agents. Roughly 600 metric tonnes of the most toxic crap was destroyed at sea. This didn't include chlorine since that wasn't part of the agreement and it's generally believed now that Assad didn't hand out his whole stockpile and continued their chemical weapons program. Just having 1300 tonnes of chemical weapons laying around for a rainy day is kinda suspicious.
In 2018 the Turks moved in on Syria. The latest chemical attack was the 3rd reported this year. There are still dozens of warring factions Syria that keep shuffling alliances and hostilities.
He didn't really get the job last night. He grew up as the dictators son and it's not news that middle-eastern royalty studied abroad. Doesn't really matter what could have happened. Yup a moderate with 1300 tonnes of chemical weapons. A moderate amount.

I've never bought into the White Helmets are supporting the terrorists, has been many reports that they have. They're definitely anti government though.
You support the Saudis though right?
If we were to chose the less of two evils, I'd take the Baathist's over the Saudis... if it was any of my business.
I wonder what the worldwide stockpile on CW's is, and how much the west has made selling them.![]()
