Thankfully many of the locals had recently been allowed to leave.
Another gas attack on a region the rebels are about to lose, I see a pattern.

The slant on Syria we're being fed is so far off the mark. Rebels have been repeatedly using gas against government forces and this isn't reported.
Yeah. When it comes to the Muslim world there really isn't any good guys. It is normally just bad guy versus bad guy. But we (the media mainly) loves good versus evil grand narratives so they/we choose a side that fits our geopolitical interests to support and pretends they are good guys.

Also, when talking about conflicts involving the Muslim world I think it is important to realize they don't have the same concept of civilians as we do. Their mindset is just us versus them, and everyone is fair game including women, children, etc. It isn't that they don't have rules of warfare, their rules are just different then ours. That is why you see so many bombings of mosques/churches and attacks on women and children, and even Hamas using Palestinian women and children as human shields. It is just a different mindset.
