Real question is are you going to dig deeper with live betting?

I saw +2 Lakers when it was 72-72 (I think). The ESPN announcers were uniformly of the opinion the Cav’s were awful. My own eyes saw an offense that had no motion. LeBron did some Pete Maravich shit but Pistol Pete never won with the Hawks either.

I did not pull the trigger. I chose instead to swear off any further involvement with both the Cavs & Lakers.

Watching the Cavs & Lakers players hug it out and grope each other before the tip is enough to make me swear off the entire gay NBA. Isiah Thomas (the real one), Larry Bird, Magic and Jordan gotta he spinning.

OK I have been all over the tanking teams and figuring out how to make $. The risk is that teams playing them will rest their starters , so games end up being closer. But tonight we have pathetic Memphis which has lost 17 in a row against the mediocre/poor Bucks who are #8 in the Eastern conference. Bucks don't have much going, but they won't be resting anyone and have to win this game. still 7.5 points, doesn't Memphis have to stay competitive, and just lose it in the end. SO I am thinking ML live bet during the game if it gets close. ML is -360 now, so try and get it down live to -200ish and bet big.

The other game I am eyeing is the OKC game. -12.5, ouch. ML is lol -1,300. So this is a bit tougher. Adams may be out, but on what planet does OKC lose at home. OKC still needs wins. If anything the play may be just put a ton of money on the ML live bet after its clear that OKC is playing hard, OBV Westbrook needs to be playing, etc. neither of these show a ton of value, but I feel like grinding some $ out of the tankers.

It appears stupidity wagering is on hiatus as BetOnline is now down for me too.

Until BOL is rock solid with uninterrupted live to hedge etc I will sit out. Even if I don’t intend to live bet watching the live lines relative to my bet is all part of the fun.

I'm thinking the strategy here is to fire on the favorites versus the tankers, with the exception of teams like OKC which tend to be inconsistent with their hustling.

From casual observation (meaning I haven't actually looked into the stats), it seems that the tankers have done horrible ATS as of late.

It's gotten quite tough to make "value" under pics because scoring seems to have gone up in the 2nd half of this season. Remember all of those unders I was picking and winning by 25+ points in the first half of the season? That's nearly impossible to come by nowadays.

I would suggest going with the spread, though, and not the ML, as the ML is just too damn steep, and one upset will screw you.

No, I didn't do it because everyone in this thread made fun of me when I suggested it.

Of course I DID fire on them last year when they were a fail (when again people said not to), so of course that's just my luck.

But I should have just dismissed the critics and done it. I saw something special about that team early on, and to get +1600 was just a gift.

I thought I would fire on it and then buy out somewhat when they faced the Cavs in the Eastern Conf Finals, but obviously now I would ride it the whole way had I fired on it.

Probably won't find an NBA futures value like this again for a long time. Everyone was too blinded by the Cavs and Celtics to give the Raptors a chance.

What impressed me about them was their consistency. They rarely had a bad game. Just brought solid basketball night after night. That means a lot in the East this year, where consistency has been extremely lacking.

Expect some killer NIT picks coming in. It's all about figuring out which power conference teams don't want to be there. It's completely different than betting the NCAA tournament. It's more closely related to handicapping preseason football. Also will probably have to take St. Boonadventure right before tip and under in radford/long island.

. I did ML last night, all live bets on the favorites when the game got closer and got a bit better pricing. But one ML sure thing goes against me, and you are right, screws it all up. Thunder, Raptors and Cavs all are prime candidates tonight. Lets see how the game develops, but a better spread when the game gets close on the favorite may be a play.

Ok. Look at how close OKC and Toronto games were until last quarter. I loaded up live betting and bam suddenly the tankers tank last quarter and the favorites close it out. If cavs suns are close and cavs aren’t sitting any stars I am loading up on cavs q3.
