In regards to the NK thing, I actually wonder if hostile foreign government will strategically make concessions to Trump to keep him in power. I could definitely see countries like Russia and NK seemingly making concessions (probably not in reality, but at least pretending to) to give Trump political victories to keep him going.

- The Russian agenda vis a vis repatriating its breakaway republics is going to be very difficult for Trump to somehow defend against. Even if they sent a courier from their embassy to Mueller's front door with an envelope, at best they end up with Pence in charge, and Pence will use tactical nukes in the European theater because Pence believes Jesus compels him to do so. At which point, most if not all of the people on this forum end up cinders in the radioactive winds in short order.
- The Russian sanctions are so deeply burnt into the fabric of our foreign policy that any hope Trump held for removing them would have evaporated within seconds of Sessions recusing himself. So again there is nothing Trump can do for Russia there.
What Russia will do (and is doing) is try to goad Trump into another Vietnamistan Adventure where we end up with boots in the desert, suppressing yet another holy war in the name of Christ and Democracy.

You are correct. They have come under a lot of criticism for their past indiscriminately policy to monetize all content, and pretty much just letting it be the wild Wild West. And in the last year or so they have taken a lot of corrective measures to censor conspiratory material. Of course a lot of people with conservative content are criticizing Google as being opportunists and using this as an excuse to censor all conservatively ideological material.
Also, although they may actually do a better job of reporting real facts than Fox News or Infowars, make no mistake. Vice has an ideological narrative to tell, and you are only going to get one side of a story from them.
I kinda wish politics was a little bit less of a team sport, and the narrative was more about new candidates potentially winning elections that will do a better job of representing their constituents than the old candidates, but I understand it is what it is.
Like, do we even know the Republican candidates that are in danger of losing their seats are bad and the Democrats that may take their place will actually do a better job? Does that even matter anymore? Did it ever matter?
