Israel said he was "devastated" after watching the video showing the deputy taking a position outside the Western side of Building 12 while shots rang out, "and he never went in" despite having a clear view of the entrance.
"I think he remained outside upwards of four minutes," Israel said.
The uniformed officer, identified as Scot Peterson, was been suspended without pay pending an investigation, according to Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel - however he has since resigned and retired from the department.

Ummm Trump is President so Alex Jones will say whatever he says. There is no way Jones can possibly say this was acted out with crisis actors like Sandy Hook if the President is on Twitter calling Nick Cruz a coward. He basically has to say it's real. I don't have to go to Infowars.com to know that.
If Obama was President Jones would be saying Cruz is a patcy totally Mk Ultrad out of his mind with some scopolamine blown in his face just to make sure. But since Trump is President what can he even really say besides derp derp FBI should have prevented this, derp derp the democrats blah blah blah, prescription drugs are bad mmkay, gun free zones bad mmkay, and that David "Boss" Hogg and the rest of the child stars(who were at/near a real event) are being helped along in their talking points by CNN. That is such a nothing. Who on Earth cares or would expect anything different. That isn't even close to the definition of a crisis actor. Jones is so handcuffed with Trump as President he must be bored out of gourd. Technically no one has called her a liar yet, but when you factor in her damning testimony of bullying/taunting Nikolas Cruz as shots rang out, and factor in it being nine days since the shooting without a peep about her from any form of media, I think this should be considered a win for me by default.
Plus my new years resolution was to start tooting my own horn where it made sense.
