Donald Trump Jr. “liked” a pair of tweets attacking a teen survivor of the mass school shooting in Florida that left 17 people dead — including one that suggests the boy was a fabrication of the “mainstream media.”
The tweets in question note that David Hogg, 17, is the son of a retired FBI agent, and charge that he has slammed President Trump and defended the bureau because Trump has repeatedly slimed the feds.

I just read that Trump told the ATF to ban the automatic weapons that Obama made legal. Is this true? This doesn’t seem real but a lot of gun freaks are saying Obama is their true friend andTrump is a pinko New York left liberal... all for telling the ATF to ban full auto Paddock shit... Meanwhile true Trump fans are saying this is a ploy. Did Obama really legalize full autos? Can a Prez just do that? My understanding is that the NRA is still driving the Republican narrative, and they are basically offering to make small changes that don't affect the bottom line too much (e.g. bump stocks), and then pretending they are actually working towards making a difference (which there is no indication they are). Yeah. I am not a big fan of this. I think the kids are being used as a political tools and it is all theatre. I think this is more about elections moving forward than any expectation wheeling in a bunch of kids will effect how the business of congress is done.
Yeah. I don't think it is as bad as Trumpian tactics. But I am not sure Trump should be the barometer we use to determine whether a political tactic is acceptable or not.

so how would you prefer the democrats embrace the activism of students whose agenda is not only perfectly aligned with their own, but based on the fact that a bunch of their friends are freshly fucking dead?
i mean honestly these kids are crying out for someone to give a fuck and all they get from the GOP are thoughts and prayers while they pocket tens of millions of dollars from the NRA.
the democrats arent politicizing these kids, these kids are politicized, and the democrats are answering their call.

It was just theatre. No Republican was ever going to change their vote because the kids got dragged into the Congressional session. Nor should they. It was all for the TV cameras.
