i can picture it vividly. sparten sittin in his cab, cig hanging from pasty open lips (makes the cig just stick there without closing mouth), eyes darting from left to right in search of his next fare....the peanut butter and crack sandwich he brought out for lunch always in his line of sight, no matter how frantic the search for fares gets.

you don’t drive for Uber or lyft, and don’t have a cab...

do you have a sign on your car or something?

I have a black car and have a radio from a dominican cab stand but i dont take calls from them. Its all legit and registered.

I just pick up off the street, straight gypsy cab style...

I charge what i believe to be a fair price. There is no law or govt monopoly that forces them to purchase my service.

THE T.L.C. INSURANCE AND THE T.L.C. FEES AND GAS AND MAINTANANCE AND DEPRECIATION ON THE CAR PRECLUDE CHARGING LESS.. never mind earning a profit(see above video).

I guess its like strawberry pickers. If an american dont want to accept $2 an hour its becouse there lazy and dont want to work not becouse doing it 40 hours doesnt even cover basic food and shelter or the wage should be raised to attract workers (isnt thats how its supposed to work)

When they asked how much and i knew were they were going , i just said $10 each ($40)..

Its a 10 minute ride and The contract was agreed too and services promptly and safley completed..

It is a pool hall with bad coke, corona by the bucket and a bunch of short fat mexican waitresses with birth scars wearing daisy duke.

Tlc insurance and fees alone are 7k a year never mind gas and maintanace and earning a living or perhaps a little profit for the pension. lol.

$10 each is fair.. Am i supposed to be uber and take them for $2 dollars each ($8 fare) Minus commission and gas and maintanance and time and insurence and fees..
