pretty good performance, pretty much standard republican platform stuff and very little alt-right gibberish.

This is a fantastic idea. It was also a fantastic idea when Obama proposed it, but the Republicans said no fucking way and howled about the deficit. Now they've passed a ludicrous tax cut for the rich that will add $1.5T in addition to the deficit that was already projected, and want to add $1.5T in new spending on top of that, all financed by debt. Hypocrites.

are you gonna be okay babe
I watched on fast forward just to see if Barrrrrrron is 6'5" yet and he wasn't even fucking there I don't think. I guess they still have him on time out for clumsily falling into that big missle alert button when he was snooping around the parts of the white house he's not supposed to be in. It's not his damn fault his center of gravity is in his neck you trash parents.
The ACLU is mad because Trump said 'America' too many times during the SOTU.
Tonight, President Trump said the word ‘America’ more than 80 times in his speech. Yet, after a divisive first year, we hear and feel how exclusionary that ‘America’ is, with policies that have harmed so many vulnerable American communities. The ACLU stands ready to protect these communities, both in the courts and at the polls.
(just in case you were wondering if Trump is going to be elected to a 2nd term)
Didn't watch a single second of the State of the Union address. I just don't get the fascination with these kind of spectacles. Lets be honest here. Trump didn't write that speech and most of the people listening don't care what the speech said anyways.
Before the speech started everyone had already made up their mind what they thought about it, mainly based on political orientation. The speech itself and all the reactions to it (good and bad) were nothing but an empty spectacle. If that is your thing, than that is fine. But I just don't see the appeal. I watched the end of the Rockets game and then most of the Clippers game instead.
I really enjoyed how the Democrat response was given by a white guy from one of the most privileged families in the nation's history.
