Would it be fair to say that Israel's influence over the USA has never been greater than it is today?
I'm seeing so many policies from the current Admin which seemingly have massive approval from Israel despite strong misgivings from America & Israel's natural allies.
Even today, Mike Pence received a standing ovation from a bunch of Israeli Ministers over a policy which the whole world strongly disapproves of.
Is it Israel first, America second?
I think it's quite telling that Israel's relationship with America under the Obama administration turned a little sour.
Obama wouldn't panda to their agenda and he suffered quite badly withing US politics because of that... Also, note that the US didn't create conflict with Israel's enemies on Obama's watch. Which was great for the world, but not so great for Israel's agenda in that region.
That's all changed now tho. Because the influence from a foreign government several thousand miles away.... is STRONG.
Don't say any of the above out loud though, as that would automatically make you anti-Semitic.
someone leaked the trump infrastructure plan and i guess the good news America's unemployable yokels will be able to download ben garrison cartoons faster:

the rest is basically just privatization, i cant find a single other source of funding listed beyond this ephemeral 'grants' concept thats getting bandied about in a way that makes it sound suspiciously like its going to be generated through the profits realized from the privatized resource?

In other news the Democrats cave on DACA.
Trump wins, again.
Anyone who thinks a human being should be plucked out of the only country they know and where they have built a life and are a contributing member of society, and dropped into a country they've never lived in and don't even speak the language, is a piece of shit.

Adelson supports Pence because of aligned temporal interests regarding Israel. But as a devote conservative Christian, Pence believes in the role that Israel plays in the End Times prophesy, including how Israel will be involved in a cataclysmic war that destroys Israel as a precursor to the Second Coming. Oh, and the final opportunity for Jews to convert before those who don't being thrown in a lake of fire with all of the other non-believers.
That latter part Adelson obviously doesn't adhere to, but the danger of aligning with the rightwing Christians on this matter is many would be ecstatic if Israel got engulfed in a nuclear war with some other Middle East power, as that would be seen by them as a consistent with End Times prophesy. And if you really cared about the safety of Israel, would you align yourself with nutjobs who would welcome it being smoked by nukes so that their Savior can make a return appearance?
I am confused. Are the Republicans the party that supports Neo Nazis or Israel/Jews? It would seem rather odd and inconsistent for it to be both, wouldn't you say?
Also, who are these "natural allies" you speak of? Is it the ones that persecuted the Jews for thousands of years, before trying to annihilate them a couple generations ago, and whose demographics are changing to where a large % of people will grow up being horrifically anti-semitic in the next couple generations? If those are the nations you speak of, Israel might not consider them as strong of allies as you do.
