Sounds like the UFC is looking to do Khabib vs Ferguson with the winner to fight McGregor this summer. I think that's the perfect way to go. It also sounds like Nunes vs Cyborg. Cyborg wins this but it's the only remotely interesting fight for Cyborg out there.

I'm pretty convinced that the only way MacGregor gets back into the octagon is to fight Floyd Mayweather. & I thinks it's gonna happen. It would be the easiest 150M Floyd ever made & he'll be needing the money.

Doesnt cyborg walk around with like 70 pounds on Nunes?

Khabib v Ferg sounds legit as hell but I hate either one of them getting derailed on their way to face Conor, particularly if its Khabib. If anyone deserves to get violently retired its Conor.

I don't see it for a bunch of reasons. First, $150m is like a pay cut by at least half from what he made off the McG fight, considering he owned the promotion. 2nd, Conor's not going to be taking less than Mayweather this time, not in his sport. 3rd, UFC would have to sell nearly 6 million ppvs @ $100 a pop just to pay the 2 fighters (cable/sat companies get about 50% off the top), before they get any cut at all. 4th, Mayweather isn't about to take a loss in any fight sport.

When they say Dana was meeting with Mayweather's people, that wasn't a lie, but from what I understand, it wasn't about Floyd or MMA at all. It was about Zuffa boxing stuff and trying to get that off the ground.

Gotta wonder if Uriah is going to have the heart to hurt Vitor on the 14th. He's proven himself reluctant in the past when it comes to his 'idols'. Plus he tends to end up in trouble in the first round.

It's a strange fight, two guys who appear to be afraid to fight at times. Vitor has looked so bad his last few times out and Hall has all the talent in the world but should have been a tennis player.

No need to worry Uriah couldn't make weight and the fight is cancelled.

The Alves fight had also already been cancelled due to a Cummings injury.

Also, Whittaker is out for UFC 221 in Australia & Rockhold-Romero will be fighting for the interim instead.

yes but even a 3 way parlay there would have been severely profitable.

a two way parlay between eye and johnson isnt really even worth the risk.

good start for UFC in 2018 (from Helwani):

Update on Uriah Hall: according to sources, he was on weight and headed to the weigh-ins this AM. That’s when he feinted. Looked scary, I’m told. Taken to the hospital. He’s feeling better and awake. Doctors are doing tests.

Was also told by two sources that the belief is Hall suffered a seizure in the midst of it all.

    or maybe Lloyd's.

Pretty tough to go 0-5 but he did.

I don't know why Paige VanZant moved up to 125 she is too small.

Most likely she did this because she can't compete against the elite at 115 but it won't be no difference here. A nice girl who was over hyped from beating scrubs early in her career with the lopsided disparity in womans mma but now she should pull a Rousey and go do movies,etc...

Just listened to the Joe Rogan podcast with Tyrone Woodley then watched a bunch of his fights, then rewatched GSP's return. I don't think GSP could compete with that stud at his age but I would like to see it.

I don't think she's too small at all, she's just technically very sloppy and has a lot more courage than ability.
