[QUOTE=Goodpoop;73404]Sounds great also. I like adding cucumber to drinks. Seems to be the next big fad. It adds a great freshness to drinks. Even just a pitcher of water.

Marshmallow Rita:
1.25 oz Smirnoff Fluffed Marshmallow
.25 Cuervo Gold
.75 oz lime juice
.5 oz triple sec
Shake and strain, serve on the rocks. Rocks glass or martini glass.
Dude, don't get me wrong I like any good drunk but seriously that cheap shit and lemonade??? Buy Pinnacle vodka. It's cheap and it actually ain't that bad. I tend to mix everything I drink with club soda. I'll buy a couple flavored Pinnacles and club soda for the summer drink. This is my cheap easy drink to get fucked up on.

Here you go:
World's Best Mojito
Tips to making a great Mojito:
1. Make your own mint simple syrup: 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar (use 1/3 brown sugar), heated until the sugar dissolves (you can use your microwave for this). Then let it steep with one cup of fresh mint leaves for at least 30 minutes before you strain it & store it in your refrigerator.
2. Instead of club soda, use cheap champagne to top off the cocktail.
3. Add a dash or two of Angostura bitters to your drink.
4. Consider using gold or dark rum instead of the light stuff (unless you're a Mojito purist).
Directions
1. In a shaker, pour in 1 ounce of your homemade mint simple syrup, and a handful of fresh mint leaves. Muddle this together gently, then add several ice cubes (or crushed ice if you have it), & muddle it a bit more, especially if you’ve got cubes you need to break down a bit.
2. Add 2 ounces of rum, 1 ounce of fresh squeezed lime juice, more ice, and the bitters; shake vigorously.
3. Strain into a tall glass over ice, lime wedges (or slices), and more mint leaves, and top off with a generous splash of the cheap champagne. Garnish with a mint sprig and serve.

I have always had good success w/ this recipe and def using sparkling mineral water like Pellegrino makes a difference:
http://www.jeffreymorgenthaler.com/2007/mojito/In a 16 ounce mixing glass, gently muddle together:
1 large sprig spearmint
.75 oz simple syrup
Add:
Half a spent lime hull, and
1 oz of lime juice (no less, no more)
2 oz white rum
3 oz sparkling mineral water
Top with crushed ice and mix with a straw until drink is combined and glass is frosty.
Okay I got my Mojito ready now I need a Peruvian chicken recipe. I love the flavor and moistness of this chicken when I order it at a resturant. Now how can I make it at home with the friends and bottle of Rum?
Anybody have any good recipes and knowledge of this?
Short of owning a rotisserie, you're not going to get ultimate moistness, but Rachel Ray has a recipe you can try. I usually have good luck with her, although I always tweak the recipes. You might read about four or five different ones, and pick the best elements of each one. Sorry I can't be more helpful - I've never made this dish.

Dudes and dudettes...... today I bought Liberte yogurt because it was on sale.....Never tried greek yogurt before
I could not believe it when I dug in. The thickest, creamiest, yogurt I've ever tried....If I was blindfolded I would swear it was soft ice cream, and this was the 0% fat version.
