I usually try to stay out of the trump threads, but I gotta admit, I came back to this one tonight to see how Tony was gonna follow this post, because its a genuinely hard list of accomplishments to come up with. Still looking forward to it.

I'll deliver, but I don't expect to change any minds and it being Christmas and all I really don't want to beef. I also have one of my miniature golden doodles on my lap and he's making it extremely difficult to reach the laptop.

Are you familiar with how Trump campaigned, and has communicated since he took office? As far as the rest of the world can tell, insults are the only things a huge number of Trump supporters seem to understand. Sure as fuck ain't logic, empathy, decency, or anything like that.

If you support a guy who clearly, CLEARLY, has no morals or ethics, speaks entirely in superlatives regardless of reality, is enriching himself both through his own companies and his new tax laws at a scale never even conceived before (and won't even show his tax returns), preaches fiscal responsibility but adds a Trillion dollars to the debt in his first whack at it, essentially removing all environmental laws and the people who enforce them, etc etc etc, its only reasonable that you should expect people to be unpolite about their anger towards your support of such person. You hang with racists, bigots, criminals, and the like, well, that's how you get judged.

The number one most annoying thing these days is when a conspiracy video starts off looking promising and then like 3 minutes into it they are like, "and thats why we need Trump in there....", it's like where in the fuck did you even fucking come from? It's not like I know a ton of people but anyone I know in real life who used to talk about 9/11 inside job were certainly not out there telling people to vote for Trump or imagining him to be someone to help people. So I really don't know where they came from. I'd like to meet just one of them IRL.

You are one of the few I would actually take seriously on this, but imo it is essentially impossible to sanely disagree with. The only argument I've seen from people I would consider intelligent is what we're seeing when it comes to all of this isn't actually what we think we're seeing, which is the biggest horseshit argument going atm.

honestly i left 1 so her mom/my sister had hard evidence. if it weren't christmas I would have flipped out on the kid myself, but I just texted her mom from the driveway as i left to let her know where it was. the fact that the kid is smoking JOINTS in her bedroom shows how out of control she is. when I was a freshman in high school we were in unfinished basements holding in one hitters and blowing them through toilet paper tubes stuffed with dryer sheets. this kid is sitting in her room smoking joints. i'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it since I taught the kid how to count to ten and have been a fairly active uncle her whole life. i consider my sister and her husband to be sub-optimal parents and not that smart. i'm also worried because i was a full blown pothead before I graduated high school and in that dimension where I DIDN'T become psychologically addicted to being high as a child I am a much happier and more successful person.

I can't understand how one rational person high drunk or sober could ever think anything else. Everyone here is playing the game so that explains them but there are way more people than them I would assume.

Republicans like the The Lurker who hate trump and bash on his supporters are in the extreme minority. Still to this day Trump has an 82 percent approval rating among Republicans. I shit you not, look it up. It's dropped from 86 percent when he was elected to 82 percent now. I have a tough time believing every single one of those people are just playing the game. It's the most confusing thing. Also his approval rating among independents was 35 percent in early Feb and is still at 31 percent now.

As long as there aren't twice as many Republicans in this country as Democrats there are more Democrats today who support Trump (7 percent) than there are Republicans who have changed their mind on him since he was elected.(86-82=4 percent)
