I don’t embrace the theocracy. But I also don’t think we should be going to war against them right now either, when they control the house and senate and a unstable maniac is the president. I really think we should get though the next 3 years with as little fuss as possible.

I hope at this point the young, brown and black people will be motivated to actually vote in 3 years and the Democratic Party can put up a legitimate candidate and we can out the trump era in the rear view mirror.

If he was elected for life and really was a dictator I get your point. But the way things are going he is probably gone in 3 years and 8 years max. Given that I don’t think risking the world going full jihad after Trump is worth it. But I fear No one in either side Is thinking clearly enough to see the long game. As I have stated in other threads, I think all the roadblocks thrown up by the media and various other groups have inflamed the situation too much and raised the stakes too high needlessly. I think too many people want this presidency to fail too bad and have worked so hard against it, it has done a lot of unnecessary damage that is going to be hard to fix, and things can get a lot worse on top of it.
